The section points out the structure of the "reconstructed" RIVER TIRES. Evidently, it reproduces exactly the one of the original tire; in this case a Michelin "MLX". The tire carcass is made out of rayon, while the belt, as to the classical Michelin technology is of the "spiral" type, with two steel bands. Well realized the reconstruction process; only an expert eye is able to distinguish the joint zone between the original and the new track band.

The sampled tires have been acquired by the personnel of "QUATTRORUOTE" at no special tire shop, have been analyzed, mounted on a car and tried out under the most difficult circumstances. 

In the end, the dates have been confronted with those revealed in tests 
for new tires by leading brands of the world (see table below).

The result is that the RIVER TIRES differ very little in their performances from new ones, with a notable profit on the economic and, something not to be underestimated, on the ecologic level.
